LDAP stands for Light Weight Directory Access Protocol, it is used for AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Authorization ), there were to many onpremise server in PT.Sayapmas. To reduce activity such a registering account, reset or sysadmin things. Probably you can use 1 LDAP server and then create integration to all server. But LDAP is a traditional method for AAA, right now we can use SAML or Google the best of the LDAP is Free and it depends on the need and function, if it is not intended for the public, only for local server can help the AAA centralization process.
